The LGR pharma plants

 

  • Cartonnages Girard

As the biggest specialized plant in Europe for pharmaceutical folding carton with more than 900 MU produced per year, Girard is a reference on the market and a real technological showcase for the LGR Group. Indeed, the park of Heidelberg XL and high speed cutting and gluing machines, as well as automated flow transfer systems, are like anything. The equipment is very polyvalent and the plant is able to deliver all kinds of batches. Its geographical situation makes it an essential player on the national level, but also in Rhône-Alpes and South-East areas.

 

  • Leguay Emballages

The LGR plant of Orléans is located at the heart of the Pharma Valley in the Loire area and is one of the main manufacturers on the French market with more than 450 MU produced per year. Leguay has a long history on this segment and it was the first company of the sector to be ISO and then Certipharm certified. In 2011 the plant turned over a new leaf in relocating to new modern facilities. Leguay masters a wide range of products and is with CFL one of the two entities that are supplying special constructions.

 

  • Cartonex

The Cartonex plant in Illiers-Combray has been completely transformed since 2002 and has now one of the highest productivity on the market, especially regarding to regular cartons. The plant has been recently equipped with a litho printing machine with 6 groups and two varnishes, including an acrylic/UV mix, and Cartonex is now able to produce complex packaging, such as cartons that contain anti-counterfeiting pigments. The plant is very active with the laboratories of Western France.

 

  • CFL Emballages

The plant of St-Eusèbe, near to Le Creusot, has 2 fields of activity: production of pharmaceutical folding cartons, in particular with complex gluing, but also packaging for healthcare and cosmetics. The machines are very polyvalent and allow a lot of options (UV, metfoil..); CFL is within the LGR Group the favoured plant for sophisticated products. In 2009 a "EtuiNotice®" workshop has also been set up, in line with «Japanese standard» requirements. In 2013 a hot foil stamping machine is installed, reinforcing the healthcare/cosmetics orientation of the site. CFL works on the national level, and in particular in Rhône-Alpes and Centre areas. The plant is FSC certified.

 

  • Policolor

As a major player of the Catalan market of pharmaceutical folding carton, Policolor is located in Barcelona. The company joined LGR Emballages in 2003. In a major strategic move forward, Policolor relocates in 2011 to a new state-of-the-art plant and acquires a new advanced 6C litho printing machine. The new site meets so all requirements of the local market, especially in terms of batches and reactivity. It is the interlocutor of multinational companies as part of the various Group partnerships, but also equally of local, regional or national customers.

 

  • VTK

VTK joined LGR Emballages in 2007. It is the third actor on the Belgian market of pharmaceutical folding carton. The company is specialized in small and medium batches, for which its competitive machine park (advanced litho printing Man Roland 1/2 3B machine, automatic stripping...) allows the expected level of flexibility and reactivity. VTK supplies also leaflets, and all products of the LGR Group for the pharmaceutical market. The plant is ISO 9001 and Certipharm certified.
 

  • Goldprint

In the LGR Group since 2011, Goldprint produces on the same plant folding cartons and leaflets. The company is located near Brussels, is ISO 9001 and Certipharm certified, and has a modern industrial equipment that makes it one of the main players for pharmaceutical packaging in Belgium. Fitted in the past exclusively with half-format printing machines, the site has acquired in 2012 a 3B offset press, which enlarges its manufacturing possibilities. 
 

  • Duran Dogan

The cooperation between LGR and Duran Dogan, with official start in 2013, is at the root of the construction of a manufacturing plant for pharmaceutical folding cartons in Istanbul. This site will be in line with quality requirements of laboratories and will meet the strong demand in Turkey and its neighbouring countries.
Duran Dogan aims to become the leader of this activity in the area. The company will benefit from the recognized technical and quality know-how of the LGR Group. The plant will be operational for the last 2013 quarter.
