A state-of-the-art industrial tool

The pharmaceutical division of LGR Emballages has globally about 22 production lines, what places it among the strongest in Europe on this segment. 
Increase in the number of production starts, reduction of batch sizes, requirements for productivity gains are some of the challenging structural trends for several years and that have been the driver for more investments and more modern equipments.

In 2013 CFL Emballages (France, Le Creusot) has acquired a hot foil stamping machine, reinforcing thus the heathcare/cosmetics orientation of the plant.
Works that had been undertaken to automate production flows and implement the new ERP in all sites are still progressing.
2013 means also the start of the LGR / Duran Dogan project in Turkey, with a major on-going realization: the construction of a new pharma plant in Istanbul, that will be operational for the last 2013 quarter.

The network of the 8 pharmaceutical folding carton LGR plants and the integrated industry/quality organisation allow LGR Emballages to propose a real back-up possibility to the customers. This option is a source of flexibility and an answer to the expectation of pharmaceutical laboratories for more industrial security.
