March, 2012: end of extension works at Cartonex

The site located in Illiers-Combray (28, France), which is specialized in pharmaceutical folding carton manufacturing, has experienced during the last months a large building transformation to extend the existing plant.

The aim was to set up a sheeter (to cut cardboard from reels according to the needs) and to enlarge storage areas for raw materials and finished goods. A first step in flow automation, especially between board sheeting and offset printing, has also been carried out.

Works have been realized according to the initial planning, without disturbing the production, what was really a great achievement.

This extension is for Cartonex a new step in its development that has been already on going for years.
